Was it London that had him in it, and was it Aerial?

I think it was Nikki, Aerial, and maybe...ohhhh...drawing a blank...the Spiders and Snakes guy...damn...name...name...
Lizzie Grey. Thats his name.
And I don't think it was Aerial, it was somebody who entered into Mott once they became just "Mott".

<font size="4" face="Arial">Nikki Sixx, no matter what he says now, was one of those who kinda rode out the late 1970s due to the fact that the media was sooo obsessed with The Ramones and "punk". As I've said before, there were people who were continuing with glam, but were lumped in with Heavy metal by the media in the late 1970s. In fact, that is what anyone who didn't look like The Ramones/Pistols/Walking Deads/et cetera was called by the media. That is how the term "NWOBHM" came about, a comment on the fact that the media used "heavy metal" as an insult.Originally posted by A Katt Named Raggz:

Now we are discussing the links between 1970s glam and the early 1980s glam.
<font size="4" face="Arial">What a fucking idiot! Got any idea of the influence REAL glam had on the 1980s?? Blackie Lawless was JT's replacement in The Dolls for awhile, Crue, in their early, pre Shout, glam incarnation, was highly influenced by Sweet.Originally posted by Mr. Sleazy:

Carl and Jay
The band was LONDON
The MOTT guy was vocalist Nigel Benjamin, Ian Hunter's replacement (they also shortened the name to just MOTT when Nigel joined)
That's what I thought it was. Then I did a little looking and thought it had to be Nigel. Thanks for the clarity Dezi!!! How ya feeling???
